Greetings! We welcome you to our extraordinary garden and online Garden Gate® Rabbit Park! We hope that you will take time to visit awhile so that we can get better acquainted! Each morning we visit our rabbitry where we are greeted by our eager bright-eyed furry friends. Our bunnies have wonderful ways of expressing their excitement! Whether they tug at their hutch doors, rattle their empty feeders or bound back and forth momentarily stopping to peek out of their hutch window to see if you have come to visit them, they anxiously await our visit to their hutch. Our rabbits are not camera shy and you will see on our website pages how they like to pose among the flowers! We certainly enjoy working with our rabbits and we hope that it shows! Hopefully, you will fall in love with our rabbits and want to take a bunny home with you! We have now made that possible-when you buy a Garden Gate® Card!!
Here at the Garden Gate Rabbit Park in South Carolina, USA, our family raises prize winning rabbits. Our rabbits have pedigrees too!( Imagine that!) SInce our rabbits love the garden as much as we do they will pose while we take pictures. Photographing rabbits can be quite a challenge. Rabbits do not stand still. There are other distractions when toads hop into the scene, a clumsy skink (lizard) drops down from the tree branch over head or a neighboring dog comes down the road for a visit! We never know when our flower garden or one of our flower “settings” will become rabbit lunch! The more pictures that we take the more the flowers seem to disappear!

Garden Gate® Rabbits on TV!
"Your Carolina" is a live broadcast seen on Channel 7. In this picture you can see Jack Roper on the far left, Kimberly, myself and Gloria. We were excited about being on the program with our rabbits! Gloria & I were given mics to attach to our collars before the program began. When the cameras were ready and our displays were in place the count down began 10..9..8..7..6..5..4...3...2...1...
Jack started the program, "I'm Jack Roper and the bunny lady is with us today!
He welcomed the viewers and then introduced us! We were both excited to have the opportunity to tell listeners more about our work. You can see that I am holding up our books while we talked about our rabbits in the stories that I wrote. We had two rabbits with us on the broadcast. Our Dutch "Bitsy" was in the wheelbarrow and she sat so good the whole time! "Sadie" our Satin rabbit was on the posing table where Gloria was attending her. Some of our products were displayed on the table including our new Calendar!
Glenn took these pictures of Gloria & I while we were guests on "Your Carolina" with Jack Roper & Kimberly. You can see in the picture where we were on the main floor of the Michelin store on Main St. and you can also see the second floor above us where show guests wait. Glenn was standing on the stairs taking the pictures.
There was so much to say but so little time!!
The producer has already written and asked us to come back-so stay tuned!! You'll see us again in a few months!

Another "Story from the Garden"...
"Christmas in My Heart" was the title on the first
Christmas book that I bought my daughter. I enjoyed collecting books for years, during my school days, college years, and also as an elementary teacher! I want to share a story with you and a precious letter that I received this year....
" I remember buying Volume 14 of Christmas in My Heart for my daughter's Christmas present. The illustrations were captivating lithographs and the variety of story titles were intriguing. Of course before I purchase a book I need to examine the content for subject quality and to be sure there are no objectional elements. After purchasing the book I knew it would be a delightful addition to my daughter's collection. ( It was the first of a series of volumes that I would purchase for our whole family to enjoy. )

Yes, These are REAL Rabbits!
Some people have asked if the bunnies on our note cards are live rabbits or not. Yes, they are real rabbits! They are very lively bunnies with Big appetites for garden plants! You will appreciate our hard work more knowing that we have to take their pictures quickly because they do not sit still, and they love to eat the blossoms! Our gardens are buffets to them and their active little noses make it very hard to take their pictures! Our rabbits have been raised here at our Rabbit Park and are dearly loved as I hope you can see by our note cards!
If anyone doubts whether Garden Gate Note Cards uses live bunnies you can refer them to this website. Here it is in writing! We can assure you these bunnies are not computer generated critters either! Those 50 lb. bags of rabbit feed that they eat each week are proof!
Are the roses real too? Yes, in fact all of the flowers, ivy and various plants and shrubs are thriving plants. They are growing here among our various gardens. We only give you our best- and a taste of real hospitality!
