What  few minutes I spare to make facebook messages for friends and family is always worthwhile!!  I do not play the games on FB because time is Too precious and I have many other wonderful hobbies and plans!!  Today  I  my emails included  a few  orders for Garden Gate Rabbit Park Calendars and mail from FB etc.  New friendships are wonderful and today a new friend wrote:

"So fun to meet you! The rabbit I am holding is a Flemish Giant and she just so happens to be named Loretta too. How funny! I just have one pair of Flemish. My main focus is Dutch...I LOVE them! I also have mini rex too. Which breeds do you raise? "

My reply was:
"What a surprise! (Lots Of Laughter here!) To find a rabbit with my name!! :)) I'm delighted to hear that!! We have 130 rabbits and have raised rabbits over 16 years. We named our rabbitry Garden Gate Rabbit Park. We have 12 breeds right now and have raised 22 breeds. We dearly love all the varieties. We have Rex, Mini Rex, Dutch, N dwarf, Flemish GIants (5) New Zealand (reds) Satins, Holland Lop, Eng. Lop, Jersey Woolies, Silver Fox (rare) BEW Beveren(rare). We hope to grow in time to have all the breeds at one location for an incredible teaching/learning experience for families-as the Lord leads and blesses! Our photos illustrate our note cards, calendars & books etc. to help with the Rabbit Park expenses and keep every bunny happy!! :) "

I have met few people with my name: Loretta.  But today I learn about a rabbit name Loretta!!  This is one special day for me!!
